What is a HydraFacial treatment?

Bespoke Skin Clinic uses a proprietary machine the HydraFacial MD by Edge Systems to perform four distinctive facial rejuvenation procedures in one single treatment. This multi-step treatment cleanses, exfoliates, and extracts dead cells. It then rejuvenates the skin by applying a serum infused with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. This treatment is suitable for all skin types, this rejuvenating treatment is gentle, non-invasive, and effective immediately.

Only HydraFacial uses patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate in just 6 steps.

This step increases lymphatic circulation in your skin by moving a metal suction device along your lymphatic system. Better lymphatic circulation not only helps move out toxins but also increases blood flow, providing extra oxygen to invigorate the skin.

A vacuum-based abrasion tip will gently smooth away dead skin cells while delivering serum directly to the fresh new skin beneath. This serum is brimming with ingredients to revitalise and support your skin, such as lactic acid, glucosamine, antioxidants, and botanical extracts, all of which are customised to treat your skin’s needs.

Now that pore-blocking old skin cells have been swept away, a glycolic and salicylic solution is applied to gently break up congestion in the pores. This will brighten your skin and at the same time prep the pores for the next step.

Unlike many facials, the extraction process is very gentle. Salicylic acid and honey are used to draw out blackheads and other impurities. This is an important step to ensure your pores are clean and able to benefit from the tightening effects of the treatment.

Now that your pores are clear and dead skin cells have been removed, your fresh new skin is ready to be treated. This step nourishes your skin and drenches it in moisture, with a mix of potent antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and peptides and multi-peptides to support collagen. This step will leave your skin soft and plump with moisture, combating the appearance of wrinkles.

Finally, red and infrared LED light is applied. This will soothe your skin, reduce the redness, and stimulate the production of collagen. It even helps your skin naturally produce vitamin D. You will be left with skin that feels soft, smooth, and invigorated.

frequently asked questions

What Does the HydraFacial Procedure Involve?

The HydraFacial procedure begins with the gentle application of a small, handheld device all along the treatment area. This special wand will gradually vacuum out irritants, dirt, oil, and dead skin cells while preparing the area for the next step: deliverance of a serum composed of hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid, peptides, and antioxidants that can effectively hydrate and moisturize the skin. The serum can also be infused with additional “boosts” to address more specific and unique skin concerns and further enhance results.

How long does the treatment take?

The entire HydraFacial treatment typically takes only about 30 minutes to complete, depending on the size of the treatment area and the extent of the concerns being addressed.

What Happens During the HydraFacial Recovery Process?

One of the many benefits of HydraFacial treatment is the fact that most people need absolutely no recovery time and are able to resume normal daily routines immediately. The skin may feel a bit tight after the procedure, and some mild redness may be present, but these effects should quickly dissipate.

Does HydraFacial Hurt?

This treatment is designed to work its magic while providing a relaxing treatment experience. In fact, some have compared the HydraFacial procedure to a light massage.

What Can I Expect From the Results of HydraFacial?

HydraFacial often results in noticeable skin renewal after only one treatment. Periodic HydraFacial treatment sessions in the months that follow are typically advised in order to maintain the outcome and keep the skin healthy and refreshed for as long as possible.
